James Scott (host) is the author of the bestselling novel, The Kept. An Amazon Best Debut of 2014, The Kept was heralded by the New York Times as “haunting” and “elegant,” and Scott was proclaimed “a master of mood” by the New York Times Book Review. Scott’s other writings can be found in the New York Times Book Review, Under the Radar, and Boston Magazine and literary journals such as Ploughshares and One Story. A graduate of Middlebury College and Emerson College, Scott currently resides in western Massachusetts.
